Our bereavement support group is held to offer a safe supportive place to explore the bereavement needs for those dealing with the loss of a loved one. We encourage and welcome family and friends of patients we have served, as well as any members of our community who are on the emotional journey of coping with the death of someone they love. Coping with the loss of a loved one is likely to be one of the most difficult challenges any of us face. You are not alone…when we lose someone dear, our grief can be particularly intense. Loss is understood as a natural part of life, but most still grapple with feeling overwhelmed, shocked, and confused, which can lead to prolonged periods of sadness or depression.
